A walk down memory lane...

Remember when these kids got married? It's always good to look back at what's been done before, for inspiration today. I love, for the most part (except the royal weddings that is), that weddings were so much simpler than they are today. All the superficial things like where you have your reception, how many people you invite, how many courses you serve, how big your cake is, what the favours are, what time you start, what music to play, what table centrepieces to have, what car to hire etc didn't seem that big a deal back in those days. People seemed to get married because they wanted to be married, have a family, make a nice home and grow old with that one person. Where as these days it seems like most people are more excited & focused on the actual wedding day than what comes after. I must admit it's easy to get carried away, I did. I think society has created a monster, everything has to be bigger and better than the last, hence the high divorce rate today, people just lose focus on whats really important.
